Jeg er sangen I the Song. To personer står tett ansikt til ansikt i et rom med grønn vegg. Den ene har rødt hår, den andre har langt mørkt hår i hestehale.

When a sex tape seemingly featuring teacher Nima goes viral, she loses both her job and her reputation.

Nima insists that she is not the woman in the video and sets out to find her mysterious double, Meto. Her search takes her across Bhutan, where she gradually uncovers more of Meto’s past and discovers a stolen sacred song. As the journey unfolds, the boundaries between Nima and Meto begin to blur. Beautifully shot by Dechen Roder, the film weaves Buddhist philosophy and music into a story about identity and shame, and about how women are so often perceived in society.
