This intense thriller retells one of the darkest chapters in Colombia’s history: the 1985 storming of the Palace of Justice in Bogotá.

The palace houses, among other institutions, the country’s Supreme Court. Guerrilla fighters storm the building and hold several hostages in a public restroom, hoping to negotiate with the military. The entire film unfolds within this space, interrupted only by real archival footage from the siege. For 27 hours, guerrillas, civilians, and court employees are trapped inside while chaos rages outside. The result is an exceptionally intense and claustrophobic chamber piece.
