Jury Statement
Quo Vadis, Aida? - The Missing Part is a moving drama set in the fragile peace after the genocide in Srebrenica. The film follows Aida and women who are still searching for their missing sons, husbands and brothers, while authorities offer delays, silence and denial. It shows the cruel bargain of peace: crimes are left unnamed, and those who demand answers are treated as a threat to stability. The women are not only defined by loss; they are sharp, stubborn and alive. Their search becomes a fight to force the truth into the open, in a story that reaches far beyond Bosnia.
