Application deadline SØRFOND, January 15, 2014
SØRFOND – The Norwegian South Film Fund, supporting film productions from developing countries, will have its next deadline on January 15, 2014. The application form will be available on this website no later than December 1.
Funded by The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and managed by The Norwegian Film Institute in co-operation with The Oslo Films From the South Foundation - SØRFOND is supporting film productions from eligible countries on the OECD DAC-list. Maximum support per project is euro 135.000. SØRFOND requires that a Norwegian co-producer must be confirmed at the point of applying for support.
In its second round 2013, SØRFOND granted production support for 6 projects ( 3 features and 3 documentaries):
- Los Herederos ( The Heirs), Jorge Hernandez Aldana, Mexico
- Flapping in the middle of nowher, Diep N.Hoangm, Vietnam
- Algiers by night, Yanis Koussim, Algerie
- The past will not return, Dina Hamza, Egypt (Doc)
- A maid for each, Maher Abi Samra, Lebanon (Doc)
- The Chosen Ones, Arman Yeritsyan, Armenina (Doc)
